PREDICATRIO

2024

Lacquered MDF table (90×123×106 cm) and three epoxy resin dice (4×4 cm each)

A relational-performance device deconstructing patriarchal power through a dice game. Three dodecahedra are inscribed with pairs of transitive verbs—imperative and reflexive—that generate a grammar of commands and pleas, rewards and punishments. Pairings like “Forgive me” / “Perforate me” spark a circuit between submission and domination, violence and dependency. They represent the trinity of male patriarchy—father, husband, God—revealing a social order where rules feed a self‑perpetuating system of control. Predicatrio is a ritual machine simulating, ridiculing, and criticizing a mortal patriarchy: no victory is possible because the player is the game.
