ALFABETO

2019

Ink on linen, 240×90 cm

A visual manifesto of linguistic and symbolic freedom: a primary grammar drawn from irreconcilable iconographic registers—bodies, weapons, gynecological tools, torture devices—forming a battlefield of desire, danger, memory, transgression. An act of semantic and sensitive insubordination: an open grammar that embraces mutation, error, addition, loss—heretical speech naming what was silenced.
